Mini Relay for Life, Streator Community Center, 6 to 11 p.m.
Open to the public. Fourth grade and older welcome without a parent; children younger than fourth grade need a parent present. A fee of $1 per person will be charged for evening events.Music, food, games, raffles and goods for sale, such as light-up and sport items, will be featured. At 7 p.m., Lexi Ramon, a teen cancer survivor, will share her cancer story and what it means to fight this deadly disease. For more information, call 815-674-6288.
Monthly Community Meal, Christ Episcopal Church, 11:30 am to 1 p.m.This meal is free and public. The menu will be chicken and noodles, applesauce, bread, dessert and a beverage.
4th Annual Dirty Mudd'r, Marilla Park
62 mile and 35 mile ride. Starts and ends at Marilla Park. This is a 35 mile and 62 mile gravel ride, fun to ride, also fun to check out and see all the riders head out. This year's event will be put on by Central Illinois Cycling Association. Half Day Event, Streator YMCA (in partnership with Streator Community Center), 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A bus will be provided to transport children from Northlawn Jr. High to the YMCA. Concessions
are provided by the SCC for an additional cost. Children must bring their own swimsuit and lock for any valuables.
